First Presbyterian Homes Wellness Center includes five main areas the cafe and bar, an open gym, art studios, a micro-clinic, and a spa. The design of each of these spaces was influenced by the seven dimensions of wellness and is inspired by the relaxed and tropical feel of a spa resort. Once you enter the building on the right side there are the more social areas that encourage community relations. The cafe includes an open kitchen with indoor and outdoor seating and a full bar that guides guest into the multipurpose room. The Gym is open and also offers a small aerobics room.  On the left side are the areas that focus more on wellness. There are three art studios that include painting, arts & crafts, and pottery; with a gallery in the hallway to display the patrons art. The Micro-clinic is equipped with infusion bays, a procedure room and a nurse's station. A nice addition is the spa that includes massage rooms and a small hair and nail salon. This wellness center is meant to be a place to ensure the elderly population is able to live a longer and more productive life.
